Cavuto endorsed Bolton's nomination to U.N. post, claiming it's "not right" that the Senate will not confirm him

On the November 16 edition of Fox News' Your World, host Neil Cavuto, Fox News' managing editor of business news, endorsed John Bolton, President Bush's nominee for U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, who is seeking to be permanently appointed to the position after ascending to the post in March 2005 via a recess appointment. Cavuto stated that it is "not right" that the Senate is unlikely to confirm Bolton and twice asked if "there [is] another way around" the Senate's confirmation process, wondering whether there was "an alternative way of paying" Bolton's salary or giving him "a different title." Cavuto also praised Bolton, saying that he has done "a pretty fine job" as ambassador.

Neil sux...

...let's examine Bolton's record. Does he deserve confirmation?

Not to mention, if weasel-boy Neil and FOX are gunning for it... forget about it.

"I think, if we had a vote on the Senate floor, the nomination would be successful."

That's scary.

Dude, watch the crack pipe... might set your moustache on fire.

There I was.

In the Student Center watching CNN as Bush announced the newUS Ambassador to the UN. I had to hold myself back from shouting "No. No. No." like some sort of crazy person.

Bolton's nomination showed the disdain the Bush administration had for the UN. Regretably he received a recess appointment anyway.

Cavuto's fauning of this Jesse Helms protege is just plain disgusting.

Stop it!

"Now, to many in the conservative community, and -- and in the larger Republican Party as a whole, you've become a bit of a rock star." ( Cavuto to Bolton)

I know things slip into the vernacular, and I'm just getting old and cranky and can't do anything about it,but can we stop calling chefs and people who sell pants and especially POLITICIANS rock stars?

especially the ones that are the farthest a living organism could possibly be from a rock star.

Woo-hoo! I got crazy-bitchin tickets to the Johhny and the Bolt- Tones gig tonight! I hope they do all their angry repressed hits about serving in appointed governmentpositions..

MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How did Cavuto manage to ask all those questions with Bolton's testicles bouncing off of his chin?

Newsflash to Neil and neocon's. THE REST OF THE WORLD DON'T WANT YOUR UN HATING, SKIN FLUTE PLAYING IDIOT ANYWHERE NEAR THE UN!! The only thing he has done is make people around the world think LESS of your great country.

Bungle's Point . . .

MEFIRST:

No doubt about it, GOP/NeoCon rule is GREAT for certain big businesses, the kind China and Russia can cash in on ... war materials and oil particularly.

With the likes of BOLTON taking the U.S. OUT of the American "diplomacy" game, this leaves the world open to other nations to loot and plunder.

So, those "endorsements" are very understandable. Bolton LOATHES the U.N., and will do whatever he can to cripple it, and to let other nations know we have ZERO respect for them or their people. In fact, as Cavuto notes, Bolton "works TIRELESSLY" to set these hallmarks of ill will.

We don't WANT our representatives "working tirelessly" doing things that are BAD for America. This last election demonstrated loudly that the nation has REJECTED Bush and his NeoCon cronies, and WE want a new direction.

What Cavuto wants ... who gives a fat rat's ass?
